NZD/USD Extends Slide to Four-Day Low as Dollar Strengthens

The New Zealand dollar fell for the fourth consecutive day on Monday, hitting its lowest since April 8, driven by broad US dollar strength from a hawkish Fed and fragile US-Iran truce uncertainty.

NZDUSD

The New Zealand dollar continued its decline against the US dollar on Monday, trading around 0.5730 and extending its losing streak to four consecutive sessions.

The pair dropped to its weakest level since April 8 amid broad USD demand. The greenback drew support from the Federal Reserve's hawkish stance and lingering doubts about the durability of the US-Iran peace agreement.

Market participants remain cautious as geopolitical uncertainty and diverging monetary policy expectations favor the dollar over risk-sensitive currencies like the kiwi.
