NZD/USD Extends Losses on Risk Aversion, Trades Near 0.5810

The New Zealand dollar weakened for a third straight session on Tuesday, falling toward 0.5810 against the US dollar as risk-off sentiment bolstered demand for the greenback.

NZDUSD

The New Zealand dollar (NZD) continued its decline against the US dollar (USD) for a third consecutive trading day on Tuesday. During Asian hours, the NZD/USD pair was trading near 0.5810, pressured by a broad risk-off mood in financial markets.

The US dollar held steady as investors sought safe-haven assets amid lingering uncertainty. The lack of upbeat catalysts for the kiwi kept the pair under pressure, with the currency extending its recent losses.

Market participants are watching for any fresh developments that could shift sentiment, but for now, the risk-averse environment continues to favor the greenback over the New Zealand dollar.
