Microsoft Raises Xbox Prices Following Apple's Price Hikes

Microsoft announced price increases for Xbox devices due to memory chip costs, shortly after Apple raised prices on MacBooks and iPads.

Microsoft has raised prices across its Xbox lineup, citing higher memory chip costs. The move comes just hours after Apple announced similar price increases for MacBooks and iPads.

Price changes include:

  • Xbox Series S 1TB: +$150 to $599
  • Xbox Series X 1TB: +$150 to $799
  • Xbox Series S 512GB: +$100 to $499
  • Xbox Series X 1TB Digital: +$150 to $749

These increases are attributed to rising AI-driven demand for memory chips, which is pressuring hardware costs across the tech sector.
