According to sources cited by @FirstSquaw, a leaked internal survey at Volkswagen shows deep concern among board members. Six of nine directors described the company as "existentially threatened," while the remaining three rated it as "strained." Unanimously, all nine backed a radical change in strategy.

Criticism was directed at Volkswagen's approach in both China and North America, two key markets where the automaker has faced competitive pressure and slowing sales. The survey underscores mounting internal alarm over VW's trajectory amid the broader shift to electric vehicles and intensifying competition from Chinese EV makers.
