Kaspersky Lab Developing 'Unhackable' Phone Running Own OS

Kaspersky Lab CEO says the company is working on a smartphone that is impossible to hack, featuring a proprietary operating system and hardware.

Kaspersky Lab is developing a smartphone that the company claims will be immune to hacking. The announcement was made by the CEO at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The device will run a custom operating system and use Russian-made hardware, distinguishing it from mainstream platforms. "This is not Android. Of course, it is not an iPhone. It is not Huawei, not Samsung. It is a Russian piece of hardware with our own OS. And it is definitely not Android. It is impossible to hack," the CEO stated.

No further details on specifications, pricing, or release timeline were provided. The project underscores ongoing efforts by Russian tech firms to develop independent mobile ecosystems.
