Iran Revolutionary Guards Deny Direct U.S. Communication Line in Strait of Hormuz

The spokesperson for Iran's Revolutionary Guards has dismissed reports of a direct communication line with the United States in the Strait of Hormuz, calling them 'total lies' and asserting that the area remains Iranian territory with no U.S. connection.

The spokesperson for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has rejected recent rumors suggesting the existence of a direct communications channel between Iran and the United States in the Strait of Hormuz. In a statement, the official labeled the claims as 'total lies' and reaffirmed that the waterway is 'Iranian land, no connection to U.S.'

The denial comes amid ongoing tensions in the region, where the Strait of Hormuz is a critical chokepoint for global oil shipments. The IRGC's firm stance underscores Tehran's continued opposition to any perceived foreign interference or bilateral communication channels in the strategic strait.
