Euro Rises vs Yen on US-Iran Deal; BoJ in Focus
The Euro strengthened against the Japanese Yen during Monday's European session, gaining 0.26% to near 185.85, supported by a US-Iran agreement. Market attention now turns to the Bank of Japan's policy outlook.
The Euro (EUR) outperformed its major peers during European trading on Monday, advancing 0.26% against the Japanese Yen (JPY) to around 185.85. The move comes amid reports of a US-Iran deal, which has improved risk sentiment and weighed on the safe-haven yen.
Traders are now focusing on the Bank of Japan's upcoming policy decision. Any hints of a shift away from ultra-loose monetary policy could influence yen direction and further impact EUR/JPY.
The pair's next resistance is seen near the 186.00 level, while support lies around 185.50.
