EIA: US Oil Output to Dip in July, Natural Gas Steady

The US Energy Information Administration forecasts crude oil production will average 13.84 million barrels per day in July, down from 13.89 million in June, and 13.81 million in August. Natural gas output is seen at 122.4 billion cubic feet per day in July and 122.6 billion in August.

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) released its latest short-term energy outlook, providing production estimates for July and August.

Key forecasts:

  • Crude oil: 13.84 million bpd in July vs 13.89 million bpd in June; 13.81 million bpd in August.
  • Natural gas: 122.4 Bcf/d in July vs 122.3 Bcf/d in June; 122.6 Bcf/d in August.

The data indicates a slight decline in oil output month-over-month, while natural gas production is expected to remain near current levels.
