AUD/USD fell to around 0.6970 on Thursday, erasing earlier gains as the US Dollar rallied following upbeat US labor market data and ongoing geopolitical tensions.

AUDUSD

The Australian Dollar weakened against the US Dollar on Thursday, with AUD/USD trading near 0.6970. The pair gave back earlier gains as the greenback strengthened after the release of strong US labor market data. Continued hostilities between the US and its trade partners also added to the dollar's safe-haven appeal.

Technical levels: Support is seen at 0.6950, while resistance lies at 0.7000. Traders now await further US economic releases for direction.
