BlackRock's BTC outflow — a signal or just noise?

Massive BTC outflow from BlackRock's ETF and deep losses for IBIT holders have me questioning near-term sentiment.

Big money moving out of BTC?

I noticed BlackRock just saw its biggest single-day BTC outflow ever — over 7,400 BTC moved to Coinbase Prime. That's on top of $1.3B in weekly redemptions from the IBIT ETF last week. 🤔 Makes you wonder if institutions are reducing exposure or just shifting custody.

What really catches my eye is that the average IBIT investor is now down about 40%. That's a lot of pain for a product that was supposed to be a safe on-ramp. Could we see more selling as holders try to cut losses, or is this the kind of shakeout that sets up a rebound? Curious what everyone thinks.

Outflows happen. IBIT holders who bought near ATHs are underwater — that's basic math, not a signal. Wait for a real capitulation event before crying doom.

Outflows track institutional repositioning, not retail panic. IBIT's cost basis clusters near $45k-$50k — current levels still within noise range for a $1T+ asset.

Outflows don't dictate thesis; they reset cost basis. If weak hands exit, the remaining holders are stickier. Risk/reward improves when weak conviction is flushed.

Outflows mean someone took profit or cut loss — doesn't flip the long-term thesis. BlackRock's still in, and price action invalidates panic.🚀🔥
