US Indices Open Lower: Dow, Nasdaq, S&P 500 Decline

At market open, the Dow Jones fell 216 points (-0.42%), the Nasdaq dropped 276 points (-1.09%), and the S&P 500 lost 49 points (-0.67%).

Major US stock indices opened in negative territory. The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined by 216.38 points, or 0.42%, to 51,704.24. The Nasdaq Composite fell 276.06 points, or 1.09%, to 25,082.54. The S&P 500 dropped 49.31 points, or 0.67%, to 7,308.18.
