US Commits to Removing Obstacles to Iran's Frozen Funds, 60-Day Period Begins

Iran's Foreign Ministry confirms US commitment to unfreezing funds, with a 60-day period starting today, while blaming Israeli attacks on Lebanon as a breach of commitments.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei confirmed that the United States has committed to removing all obstacles to the release of Iran's frozen funds. He stated that a 60-day implementation period begins today.

Baghaei also criticized continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon, calling them a breach of commitments. On the Hormuz Strait issue, he indicated that responsibility lies jointly with Iran and Oman, and that talks on an enforcement mechanism will begin immediately.

The announcement comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions, particularly involving Israel and Lebanon, which could impact regional stability and energy markets.
