Seagate Guidance Tops Estimates as Cloud Data Center Demand Booms

Seagate Technology provided a bullish outlook for its fiscal first quarter, projecting revenue between $4.0 billion and $4.2 billion. This range comfortably exceeds the consensus estimate of $3.749 billion.

Adjusted earnings per share are seen at $7.10 to $7.50, compared with the $5.80 analysts had expected. The company attributed the upside to strong demand from cloud data center customers.

Seagate also signaled confidence beyond the near term, noting that momentum is expected to continue into 2027 and that demand for mass capacity storage remains durable over the long haul.
