PBOC Sets USD/CNY Reference Rate at 6.8130

The People's Bank of China set the USD/CNY central parity rate at 6.8130 on Thursday, slightly higher than the previous day's fix of 6.8096.

USDCNY

The People's Bank of China (PBOC) fixed the USD/CNY reference rate at 6.8130 for Thursday's trading session, compared with 6.8096 on Wednesday. The move marks a marginal weakening of the yuan against the dollar, though the fix remains within a narrow range.

The central bank's daily fixing is guided by a basket of currencies and market conditions, serving as a floor for onshore trading. The previous fix was reported by Reuters at 6.7752.
