Pakistan PM Says Iran Missiles Not Part of US-Iran Talks

Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Iran's ballistic missile program was never included in the US-Iran peace negotiations, countering claims that missile capabilities were discussed. He praised the peace deal as a step toward stability, while Iran insisted its missiles remain off the table.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has clarified that Iran's ballistic missile programme was never part of the ongoing US-Iran peace talks. Speaking on the matter, Sharif rejected any suggestion that Tehran's missile capabilities were on the negotiating table.

Sharif praised the US-Iran peace deal as a positive step toward regional stability, despite the missile issue being excluded from discussions. His remarks come amid broader diplomatic efforts to ease tensions in the Middle East.

Separately, Iran reaffirmed its long-standing position that its missile programme is "not for negotiation" and will remain outside any future talks. The statement underscores a key sticking point in US-Iran relations, as Washington has previously sought to include missile limitations in any agreement.
