Netflix Slumps as Chip Selloff Persists, S&P 500 Near Record

Netflix shares fell amid a continued selloff in chip and space stocks. The S&P 500 remains just 1% below its all-time high, suggesting the risk-off move has not yet destabilized broader markets.

The risk-off mood deepened into the end of the week as a broad selloff in semiconductor stocks showed no signs of letting up. Netflix was among the notable decliners, while SpaceX and other chip-related names also came under pressure.

Despite the pullback, the S&P 500 is only about 1% away from its all-time high, indicating that the current correction has not escalated into a systemic threat to financial markets. Traders are watching whether selling pressure will intensify or stabilize next week.
