General Motors (GM) reported better-than-expected second-quarter 2026 results. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $3.57, surpassing the $3.19 consensus estimate. Revenue reached $48.03 billion, versus a questionable estimate of $6.61 billion (likely a data error). International operations posted adjusted EBIT of $190 million, above the $144.4 million forecast. Vehicle sales totaled 990,000 units, up 1.6% year-over-year.
The company raised its full-year 2026 guidance. GM now expects adjusted EPS in the range of $12 to $14, up from the prior outlook of $11.50 to $13.50. Full-year adjusted EBIT is projected at $14 billion to $16 billion, compared to the previous guidance of $13.5 billion to $15.5 billion.
In addition, GM declared a quarterly dividend, signaling confidence in its financial position. The positive results and upgraded outlook reflect strong operational performance across segments.
