EUR/USD Rises to 1.1455 on Weak US NFP Data

The Euro climbed to near 1.1455 against the US Dollar on Friday, buoyed by a weaker-than-expected US jobs report that has reduced hawkish Fed expectations.

EURUSD

The Euro rose 0.16% to trade around 1.1455 against the US Dollar during the European session on Friday.

The pair gained ground as the US Dollar broadly weakened following the release of disappointing US Non-Farm Payrolls data. The weak jobs report has eased expectations for an aggressive interest rate hike path by the Federal Reserve, weighing on the greenback.

EUR/USD remains supported by the softer dollar sentiment, though traders will watch for further US economic releases for direction.
