Dollar Index Dips Toward 101 as US-Iran Strike Halt Weighs
The US Dollar Index fell near 101.00 in Asian trading after a halt in US-Iran strikes reduced safe-haven demand for the greenback.

The DXY, which tracks the dollar against a basket of six major currencies, slipped to around 101.20 in early Asian hours, extending a mild decline from the previous session. The move pushed the index closer to the 101.00 handle.
The pullback came as reports of a pause in military strikes between the US and Iran eased geopolitical tensions, sapping demand for the dollar as a safe-haven asset. Markets typically rotate out of the greenback when perceived risks subside, allowing other currencies to strengthen.
