Bitcoin Approaches $66K, Strategy Acquires 1,587 BTC, Ethereum Post-Quantum Proposal

Bitcoin has moved closer to $66,000, continuing its cyclical price movements. The exact reasons for the fluctuations were not detailed, but the asset remains in focus.

Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) purchased an additional 1,587 Bitcoin for approximately $100 million, reinforcing its long-term accumulation strategy.

In Ethereum news, a proposal has been submitted to add post-quantum security for accounts at a cost of just $0.07 per transaction, aiming to future-proof the network.

Separately, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has demanded that cryptocurrency platforms operating without a MiCA license exit the European Union, tightening regulatory oversight.
