XTB extends sports sponsorships with FC Porto sleeve deal

Polish CFD broker XTB will put its brand on FC Porto men's first-team shirts from 2026-27, extending a run of sports sponsorships after Napoli and FIBA.
Polish-listed CFD broker XTB has agreed a multi-year sponsorship with Portuguese football club FC Porto, adding another top-tier sports property to its marketing line-up. The XTB brand will appear on the sleeve of the men's first-team shirts in domestic competitions from the 2026-27 season. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The agreement continues a busy period for XTB sponsorships: earlier this year the broker signed a multi-year deal with Italian club SSC Napoli and also partnered with FIBA, the international basketball federation. XTB said the FC Porto tie-up is aimed at making investing accessible to a broader audience and strengthening its brand in Europe.
Omar Arnaout, XTB's CEO, said the partnership should increase visibility in key European markets and deepen the company's connection with football supporters. He described the collaboration as extending beyond branding to financial education, helping fans gain the knowledge and confidence to manage their money.
A regional focus will back the global campaign, with XTB pointing to growth and investment potential in the Middle East and North Africa. Achraf Drid, Managing Director at XTB MENA, said working with FC Porto reflects a commitment to performance and international market access and helps position XTB as a financial partner for the region.
Under the deal, XTB's visibility will include pitch-side LED screens, stand-mounted LED displays, external videowalls and press-room branding at Estádio do Dragão. The two organisations also plan digital communications and player-focused content. FC Porto president André Villas-Boas called XTB an ambitious, internationally recognised organisation and said the three-year agreement should create relevant experiences for supporters while strengthening the club's international reach.
XTB, founded in Poland in 2004 and listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2016, says its app serves close to 3 million customers across stock, ETF, CFD and options investing. The company employs more than 1,400 people across 17 offices and is regulated by multiple authorities worldwide.
