Mercado Bitcoin Partners with Adianta Jus to Bridge Judicial Credit and Capital Markets

Brazil's Mercado Bitcoin teams up with Adianta Jus to tokenize precatórios, offering retail investors access to government debt claims with estimated 20% annual returns.

Brazil’s largest digital asset platform, Mercado Bitcoin (MB), has announced a strategic partnership with Adianta Jus, a company specializing in judicial asset ecosystems. The collaboration aims to create a bridge between creditors of court-ordered government debts (precatórios) and capital markets through tokenization.

The first public offering under the partnership, the PREC01 token, sold out in less than a week. The token represents Certificates of Receivables issued by MB Securitizadora, transforming judicial credit rights into digital assets on a blockchain. Investors can buy fractional stakes with a minimum investment of R$100 and an estimated annual return of 20%. A subordination layer of 10% of the raised amount provides a first-loss cushion to protect senior token holders.

Under the arrangement, Adianta Jus handles the origination of precatórios, including credit analysis, legal review, and transfer agreements. The company holds the entire subordinated token tranche, aligning its interests with the quality of the assets. Mercado Bitcoin converts the credit rights into tokens and distributes them to investors via the senior tranche.

“This partnership resolves the slow pace of receiving funds for creditors who don’t want to wait for the long payment schedule of precatórios,” said José Werneck, co-founder of Adianta Jus. “On the capital markets side, the structure mitigates systemic risks by decentralizing processes and avoiding overly concentrated origination and analysis models. It also allows retail investors to diversify into assets previously reserved for institutions.”

The tokenized offering is registered under a CVM resolution (Brazil’s securities regulator) and recorded on blockchain for transparency and compliance. Smart contracts ensure ownership and payment rights are directly linked to the investor. MB is audited by KPMG, holds all necessary regulatory licenses in Brazil, and is the fifth largest private credit tokenizer globally, having tokenized R$2.3 billion to date, according to MB VP André Gouvinhas.

The initial PREC01 offering had a maximum raise of R$2 million. The partnership expects to launch additional tokens over 2026, aiming for total fundraising of R$15 million. “Fintechs and legaltechs play a central role in expanding access and simplifying this complex ecosystem,” added Werneck, noting that smart technology enables automated credit identification, pricing, and faster legal analysis.
