BoursoBank Reports Q1 Net Income of €92 Million, On Track for €300M+ in 2026

BoursoBank reported a record net profit of €92 million for Q1 2026, with assets under management reaching €98 billion. The digital bank is on track to exceed €300 million net profit for the full year.

BoursoBank, the French digital bank, reported a net profit of €92 million for the first quarter of 2026, putting it on track to achieve its full-year target of over €300 million. The bank’s assets under management reached €98 billion as of end-March, up €11.6 billion year-on-year, and average client holdings stood at €11,000. More than 52% of its 8.9 million clients now use BoursoBank as their primary bank.

CEO Benoit Grisoni said the record quarterly profit and a return on net equity (RONE) above 60% demonstrate the financial efficiency of the digital bank model. The quarter also saw record trading and investment activity, along with several product launches targeting young people, professionals, and wealthy clients.

BoursoBank is expanding its strategic segments. Its professional offering, BoursoBusiness, launched in late 2024, now serves over 80,000 clients and has added a business securities account with access to more than 2,600 products. For young clients, the bank enhanced its teen offer with a fully mobile account, a WELCOME card, and a Bourso+ savings account yielding 2.4% gross annually until end-2026. The private banking offer BoursoFirst now includes a new unlimited savings account at 2.4%, Luxembourg life insurance with ETF access, and a lombard loan from 2.95%.

Client engagement metrics rose sharply. Average monthly card transactions reached 16.3 in Q1, with 42% of payments via wallet and 87% of proximity payments contactless. Instant free transfers accounted for 88% of outgoing transfers. The bank recorded 1.2 million trading accounts, up 20% year-on-year, and executed a record 3.9 million orders in the quarter (+30%). Its zero-commission trading offer BoursoMarkets drove the activity.

Insurance contracts grew 9% to 1.3 million, and the discount program The Corner saw 1.1 million transactions representing €131 million in spending, saving clients €8 million. Credit production reached nearly €900 million, with lombard loans up 74%.

Customer satisfaction remained high with a Net Promoter Score of +55, leading the French banking sector for the eighth consecutive year (Bain & Company). BoursoBank was also named best bank in several rankings, including Capital/Panorabanques for fees and Les Echos for best overall offer. The bank continues to invest in financial education through partnerships with influencers and podcasts.
