Riot moving BTC to custody – a warning sign?
The second-largest miner just shifted 500 BTC to custody. Makes me wonder if they're preparing to sell into strength.
I saw that the second-largest Bitcoin miner moved 500 BTC to custody today. That's about $30.7 million worth sitting at NYDIG, and it usually means a sale could be coming. When one of the biggest players starts putting coins on the move, it gets me thinking.
Are they locking in profits ahead of a potential pullback? Or is this just routine treasury management? Either way, selling into strength by a miner of this size doesn't exactly scream conviction for higher prices. 🤔
I'm not jumping short here — but I'm definitely watching for a reaction. If more miners follow, that could be a clue for a local top in BTC.
