Regulation Heat on Hyperliquid – Bearish Signal

Singapore flags Hyperliquid as unlicensed. That’s a red flag for DeFi. I’m short BTC here – if risk-off kicks in, 58k is the next stop.

Regulation Heat on Hyperliquid – Bearish Signal

Singapore just added Hyperliquid to the Investor Alert List. That means no MAS protection for users if things go wrong. The protocol says it's not a ban, but the market hates this kind of uncertainty.

I'm leaning bearish on BTC as a proxy for DeFi sentiment. If we lose the recent low near 58.3k, I expect a quick drop toward 57k. My invalidation is a clean break above 60.8k – until then, I'm short.

📈 Singapore’s move is a reminder that regulatory clarity matters for institutional flows. Shorting BTC on one DeFi flag feels premature though — correlation isn’t guaranteed. Watch for broader risk-off before leaning in.
  • Regulators poking around doesn't surprise me. DeFi's always been a grey area. But shorting BTC on one exchange's problem feels like over-hedging.
  • So the regulators are finally poking at the big DeFi players—makes you wonder if that's the spark for a broader risk-off move. If BTC really slides to 58k, do you see alphaliquidity following the same path, or are we looking at a divergence
  • 58k aligns with the Feb liquidity void. Singapore’s move adds regulatory friction, but Hyperliquid's $1.3B TVL suggests markets already priced in some risk.
