USD/CHF Drops 0.7% Below 0.8100 After US Inflation Report

USD/CHF fell 0.70% to 0.8091 on Tuesday as a cooler-than-expected US inflation report prompted traders to reduce hawkish Federal Reserve bets.

USDCHF

The USD/CHF pair tumbled 0.70% on Tuesday, slipping below the 0.8100 level to trade at 0.8091. The decline followed the release of the latest US inflation data, which came in softer than anticipated.

Market participants used the report to scale back expectations for aggressive Fed tightening. The move suggests reduced appetite for the US dollar against the Swiss franc in the near term.

Despite the pullback, some analysts note that the pair's broader trend remains bullish, though Tuesday's price action signals a correction. Traders will watch for further catalysts from the Fed and Swiss National Bank.
