U.S. Navy Enforces Iran Blockade in Arabian Sea, Redirects 132 Vessels
The U.S. Central Command reported that as of June 7, its forces have redirected 132 commercial vessels and disabled 6 while enforcing a blockade against Iran in the Arabian Sea.
CENTCOM stated that the officer of the deck aboard the USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) observed a merchant vessel during the operation. The guided-missile destroyer is enforcing the U.S. blockade against Iran.
