US Confirms Iran MOU Signed Digitally by Vance, Qalibaf

A US official confirmed that a memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran was signed digitally on Sunday by Vice President JD Vance and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, witnessed by President Donald Trump. Trump and Iranian President Pezeshkian subsequently signed the document on Wednesday.

A US official has confirmed that a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the United States and Iran was executed in a two-step digital signing process.

On Sunday, US Vice President JD Vance and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf digitally signed the document, with President Donald Trump serving as a witness. Subsequently, on Wednesday, Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian added their signatures.

The announcement came via a diplomatic source, though further details on the MOU's content have not been disclosed.
