Swiss Franc Strengthens, USD/CHF Drops to 0.7990 as Dollar Struggles

The Swiss Franc gained ground against the US Dollar during Asian trading on Thursday, pushing USD/CHF to around 0.7990. The dollar's weakness persisted despite risk aversion, though safe-haven demand from Middle East tensions may limit further losses.

USDCHF

The Swiss Franc extended its advance against the US Dollar during Thursday's Asian session, with USD/CHF falling to the 0.7990 area after four consecutive days of gains for the pair.

The US Dollar struggled to find support even as risk aversion increased, weighed down by ongoing geopolitical concerns in the Middle East. However, the same safe-haven demand could eventually bolster the greenback, potentially capping further downside in USD/CHF.
