RTX Corp (NYSE: RTX) reported strong second-quarter results for 2026, significantly exceeding analyst expectations. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $1.89, surpassing the consensus estimate of $1.66. Adjusted sales reached $24.71 billion, versus the estimated $22.9 billion.
Segment performance was robust. Pratt & Whitney contributed sales of $8.89 billion (est $8.2B), while Collins Aerospace Systems generated $8.21 billion (est $7.86B). Free cash flow for the quarter was $2.88 billion, well above the $1.62B estimate.
The company raised its full-year 2026 outlook. It now expects adjusted sales in the range of $95B to $96B (previously $92.5B to $93.5B), adjusted EPS between $7.10 and $7.25 (previously $6.70 to $6.90), and free cash flow of $8.5B to $8.75B (previously $8.25B to $8.75B).
