The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) delivered a widely anticipated 25-basis-point rate hike on Wednesday, bringing the Official Cash Rate (OCR) to 2.50% from 2.25%.
The decision followed the conclusion of the RBNZ's June monetary policy review. The move was in line with market expectations, as the central bank continues its tightening cycle to combat inflation.
