NZD/USD Falls Below 0.5850 as US Strikes Iran

The New Zealand Dollar weakened against the US Dollar, slipping to around 0.5840 after the US launched a wave of strikes against Iran, fueling risk-off sentiment.

NZDUSD

The NZD/USD pair edged lower to approximately 0.5840 during early European trading on Friday. The decline comes as the United States initiated a series of strikes against Iran, escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Risk aversion weighed on the New Zealand Dollar, which is often sensitive to global geopolitical uncertainty. The US Dollar benefited from safe-haven demand, pushing the pair below the 0.5850 level.
