Netanyahu Says IDF Has Full Freedom of Action in Southern Lebanon
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that the IDF has no restrictions in southern Lebanon and will remain in a security zone as necessary to protect northern residents.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated that the Israel Defense Forces have full freedom of action in southern Lebanon to counter any direct or emerging threats to soldiers or residents of northern Israel.
According to a report from Axios journalist Barak Ravid, Netanyahu said the directive from him and the defense minister remains unchanged, and the IDF faces no restrictions in the area. He also stressed that Israel will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon for as long as needed to protect its citizens.
