Japanese Yen Weakens Against Majors Amid Middle East Tensions

The Japanese Yen is trading lower against most major currencies but slightly higher versus the US Dollar at around 162.35 during early European trading as Middle East conflicts escalate.

USDJPY

The Japanese Yen is underperforming against its major currency peers as geopolitical tensions in the Middle East intensify. During early European trading, the Yen showed a marginal gain against the US Dollar, trading around 162.35.

Typically, such conflicts drive risk aversion and support safe-haven currencies like the Yen. However, the Yen is experiencing broad weakness today, with the exception of a slight uptick against the greenback.

Traders are closely monitoring developments in the region for further currency movements.
