Iran's top negotiator is set to visit Oman to discuss strengthening bilateral ties and joint efforts aimed at consolidating Iranian arrangements for managing the Strait of Hormuz, a critical chokepoint for global oil shipments.

The update was shared via a Telegram post from an account attributed to Foreign Minister Araghchi. The visit underscores ongoing regional diplomatic activity around the strategic waterway, through which about 20% of the world's oil passes.
