WOO X Users Report Crypto Withdrawals Stuck for Up to Three…
Multiple WOO X customers say crypto withdrawals have sat in pending or processing states for as long as three days, drawing scrutiny of the exchange's 2025 operator change and its link to BitMart founder Sheldon Xia.

Multiple WOO X customers have reported cryptocurrency withdrawals stuck in "pending," "processing" or "submitted" status, with some saying transfers have remained incomplete for as long as three days, according to complaints posted on X over the past several days.
Blockchain investigator ZachXBT amplified the reports on Sunday, saying several verified WOO X users had contacted him about delayed withdrawals. One customer said they had held a Level 2 verified account on the exchange for five years and had waited three days for a withdrawal to complete. Another reported a transfer to a self-custody wallet lingering in "submitted" status for more than six hours. A further user said repeated attempts to withdraw USDC over several days were cancelled rather than completed.
The allegations have not been independently verified and do not establish that WOO X has suspended withdrawals platform-wide. It remains unclear how many customers are affected, which assets or blockchain networks are involved, or how much money is awaiting processing. At the time of writing, WOO X's news page and its deposit and withdrawal interruption support section carried no notice of a wider problem; that section lists earlier network-specific disruptions involving Filecoin, Polygon, BSC, Base and Optimism.
Governance links draw extra scrutiny
The complaints are attracting more attention because WOO X changed operators last year and has a publicly documented connection to BitMart founder Sheldon Xia. In October 2025, WOO said Web3 private-equity firm FusionX Digital would acquire WOO X and become the centralized exchange's new operator, with customer accounts, assets, trading and support continuing through a transition expected to take place gradually over six months. The same announcement named Xia to WOO X's newly established Global Strategy Committee, advising on international expansion, regulatory matters and trading experience. That does not establish that Xia owns or controls FusionX Digital, nor that WOO X customer assets are financially connected to BitMart.
BitMart said on July 26 it would begin an orderly cessation of operations, suspending new registrations, deposits and new trading before stopping trading services on Aug. 26, with platform operations originally set to end Jan. 31, 2027 and withdrawals kept open during the wind-down. On Aug. 21, the exchange said it was considering a restructuring proposal as an alternative to full closure, potentially restarting parts of the business in phases while making distributions to creditors, subject to legal, financial, regulatory and operational reviews. BitMart appointed White & Case as restructuring counsel and said it expected to provide another update by Sept. 9, while users have continued to complain on social media about accessing funds.
There is currently no public evidence that WOO X's delays are financially linked to BitMart's restructuring, or that WOO X faces a solvency problem. Delayed withdrawals can stem from compliance reviews, blockchain congestion, wallet maintenance, liquidity management or internal operational issues, and without an explanation from the exchange, users are left to judge the situation from individual reports.
