U.S. to Release $600 Million to GAVI, Reaffirms No WHO Funding Through Alliance

The U.S. State Department announced the immediate release of all $600 million in congressionally appropriated funding to GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance, covering fiscal years 2025 and 2026. The department also reaffirmed that the U.S. will not provide government funding to the World Health Organization through GAVI.
