Anduril Produces First YFQ-44A Autonomous Combat Drone at New Ohio Factory

The YFQ-44A is being developed under the U.S. Air Force’s Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program, which envisions uncrewed systems operating in tandem with crewed fighters to extend mission capabilities. The rapid transition from factory inauguration to first aircraft underscores Anduril’s software-driven manufacturing approach.
The company aims to scale production of autonomous systems to meet the Defense Department\'s demand for affordable, attritable airpower.
