Stablecoin supply keeps shrinking â a sign of fading liquidity
USDC and USDT market caps have been declining for months. That typically means less dry powder for rallies. What does that tell us about the next move? ð€
I've been tracking the stablecoin data recently, and it's hard to ignore the trend. USDC and USDT supply have both been trending down since November â USDC down roughly 3.6% and USDT down about 2% over the last 30 days. That's a significant amount of liquidity leaving the ecosystem.
Less stablecoin supply usually means less buying pressure waiting on the sidelines. Could this be why we're seeing such low energy in altcoins lately? Or is this just the calm before something bigger breaks? I'm curious what others think. ð€
