Wall Street kicked off the session on a mixed note. The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 338.59 points, or 0.65%, reaching 52,548.67 shortly after the opening bell.

In contrast, the S&P 500 slipped 2.48 points, or 0.03%, to 7,410.70. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite fell 110.77 points, or 0.44%, to 24,821.31.

The divergent performance came as investors weighed fresh economic data and corporate earnings. No single catalyst was immediately cited for the split moves among major benchmarks.
