Japanese Yen Gains Past 162.00 as Dollar Weakens
The Japanese Yen edged higher on Tuesday, pushing USD/JPY below the 162.00 level and easing near-term intervention fears after the pair retreated from Monday's highs near 162.40.

The Japanese Yen ticked up on Tuesday, recovering some ground against a softer US Dollar. The USD/JPY pair slipped back to session lows just under 162.00, pulling away from Monday's peak around 162.40.
This move helped alleviate immediate concerns about potential intervention by Japanese authorities, which had been heightened after the pair's recent climb. The yen's gain remains modest, however, and the pair continues to trade at elevated levels.
