Bitcoin Whales Accumulate 66,700 BTC While Mid-Sized Wallets Distribute

Over the past 60 days, large Bitcoin whales (1000–10,000 BTC addresses) net accumulated about 66,700 BTC, while mid-sized wallets (100–1000 BTC) distributed roughly 77,800 BTC, per CryptoQuant contributor Amr Taha.

On-chain data reveals a divergence in Bitcoin holder behavior. Large whale addresses (1000–10,000 BTC) have net accumulated approximately 66,700 BTC over the last 60 days, marking the highest accumulation level since February 17, when the figure briefly surpassed 106,000 BTC.

In contrast, wallets holding between 100 and 1000 BTC distributed about 77,800 BTC during the same period. The trend was highlighted by CryptoQuant contributor Amr Taha, pointing to differing strategies among Bitcoin cohorts.
