AUD/USD Strengthens Above 0.7000 on RBA Hawkish Stance

The AUD/USD pair rose to near 0.7010 in early Asian trading on Wednesday, supported by expectations of a hawkish Reserve Bank of Australia.

The Australian Dollar gained against the US Dollar, pushing AUD/USD above the 0.7000 level to trade near 0.7010 during early Asian hours on Wednesday.

Traders are pricing in an increased likelihood of a rate hike by the Reserve Bank of Australia, which has underpinned the Aussie. The hawkish shift in RBA rhetoric contrasts with a more cautious outlook from the Federal Reserve, further supporting the pair.
