On June 9, unknown attackers compromised wallets associated with Humanity Protocol, resulting in an estimated $31 million loss. The project's native token, H, dropped 83% within 24 hours, falling from $0.70 to $0.12.

Founder Terence Kwok confirmed the incident and suggested that one employee's private keys may have been intercepted. However, on-chain researcher ZachXBT questioned the team's explanation, speculating that the breach might be linked to a market maker.

The incident has raised concerns about security practices in the crypto space, with the token's price still under pressure.
