Holiday Liquidity Caution
US Independence Day brings low volume in NY session. I step aside to avoid erratic moves.
I always track US bank holidays closely. Today is Independence Day, which means official closure for most institutions. The NY session will see significantly reduced liquidity.
From a risk management standpoint, I prefer not to trade during such periods. Thin markets often produce whipsaws and false breaks that can catch even disciplined setups off guard.
My approach is to step back, review the week's performance, and let the session pass without forcing entries. Patience is just as important as analysis.
