Bitfinex Highlights $68K BTC Support; BitMEX Closure, Other Crypto News

Bitfinex analyzed the $68,000 level as key support for Bitcoin. BitMEX announced its closure, and other developments include AFX Trade halting its bridge, Grayscale linking BTC bottom to Fed policy, and Kazakhstan approving strategic mining rules.

Bitfinex emphasized the importance of the $68,000 level for Bitcoin, suggesting it could act as a critical support zone. Elsewhere, BitMEX announced it is shutting down operations, while AFX Trade paused its bridge after a 24.15 million USDC withdrawal.

In other news, Grayscale tied the potential Bitcoin bottom to Federal Reserve policy. The White House accused Moonshot AI of distilling Fable, and Kazakhstan approved rules for strategic cryptocurrency mining.

Franklin Templeton highlighted AI agents as a driver for crypto payments. Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) launched a Bitcoin security consortium. The UN estimated losses from scam networks at $114 billion.
