Strategy has launched the Bitcoin Security Consortium, a multi-year initiative with partners pledging $15 million to bolster the long-term security of the Bitcoin network. The consortium aims to finance developers and researchers, and educate the community on blockchain security.

The first priority is preparing for quantum computing threats. 'As long-term BTC holders, we are vested in Bitcoin remaining secure for future generations,' said Strategy CEO Fong Le. The effort reflects a proactive approach to network resilience.
