USD/CHF Steady Near 0.8100 as Dollar Cools on US-Iran Tensions

The Swiss franc held its ground against the US dollar on Monday, with USD/CHF hovering around 0.8100 as the greenback remained subdued amid market caution following fresh military clashes between the US and Iran.

USDCHF

The USD/CHF pair traded flat for a second consecutive session during Asian hours on Monday, fluctuating near the 0.8100 mark. The US dollar showed little directional bias as traders adopted a cautious stance after the latest military confrontations between the United States and Iran.

The standoff between the two countries has injected a dose of uncertainty into currency markets, limiting risk appetite and keeping the safe-haven franc supported. However, with no major economic data releases on the calendar, the pair is range-bound for now.

Traders will watch for any escalation in geopolitical tensions or fresh headlines from the Middle East that could break the current stalemate.
