USAF reactivates large-scale airbridge to Middle East after Iran ceasefire collapse

Dozens of U.S. Air Force cargo planes, including C-17s and other heavy-lift aircraft, are flying from European bases to the Middle East as the June ceasefire with Iran fell apart in early July.

According to sources cited by @FirstSquaw, the United States Air Force has reactivated a full-scale airbridge to the Middle East. Dozens of cargo planes, including C-17s and other heavy-lift aircraft, are departing from European bases today.

The mobilization follows the collapse of the June ceasefire agreement with Iran, which broke down in early July. The scale of the airlift suggests a significant logistical operation, though specific destinations or mission details have not been disclosed.
