Trump Presses Senate to Pass Budget Resolution Before August Recess

He congratulated Speaker Mike Johnson and various House Republican leaders for a "MAJOR success in taking the first step towards passing the Budget Bill."

The post named several representatives, including Chairman Jodey Arrington, Chip Roy, Michelle Fishbach, and Virginia Foxx, among others. Trump characterized the legislation as one of the most consequential in U.S. history, highlighting its focus on strengthening the military, providing aid for farmers, and incorporating as much of the "Save America Act" as possible.

He specifically asked the Senate to adopt a budget resolution that can pass with a simple majority before leaving for the August recess, stating readiness to work alongside the Senate to deliver for the American people.
